Johnsburg man pleads guilty to brutal assault of woman

QUEENSBURY -- A Johnsburg man who police said beat and choked his ex-girlfriend and pointed a rifle at her pleaded guilty Monday to a felony assault charge that will result in a state prison sentence of up to 5-1/2 years.
