D.A.: Felony assault charge against Hood County man dropped

A third-degree felony charge of assault on a peace officer against Richard Lee Lytle, 31, of the River Run subdivision stemming from an April 14 arrest by a Sheriff's Office deputy at Lake Granbury Medical Center, has been dropped, Hood County District Attorney Rob Christian said Wednesday. Christian said there "wasn't sufficient evidence to support the charge."
