Felony Assault Charge Against 16-Year-Old Will Transfer to Juvenile Court

A Linn County Sheriff's Deputy puts handcuffs on Keenan Baker, 16, after Baker made his initial appearance at the Linn County Courthouse on Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Baker is charged as an adult with assault causing serious injury, a class D felony, in the assault of Christian Meek, 15, as Meek walked home from school with other boys.
